Italy Vs Costa Rica FIFA World Cup 2014

World Cup
Italy v. Costa Rica
20 Jun 21:00 - Arena Pernambuco
Going through the 2-1 win over England in the first match of 2014 FIFA World Cup. The 2006 World Champions is ready to strike again in the second match of the tournament against Costa Rica at Itaipava Arena Pernambuco, Recife, Pernambuco. The Italian Goal Keeper Gianluigi Buffon is ready to make come back after missing the opening of the tournament. Marco Verratti is also set to start for Italy who missed out the first match against England due to virus. Mario Balotelli, Andrea Pirlo, Buffon are the three players mentioned widely, but Italy has discovered two right-sided players that made the difference against England and gave Italy a needed offensive push. Fullback Matteo Darmian (Torino Star) and midfielder Antonio Candreva romped down that side repeatedly against England to create all sorts of danger. Defender Andrea Barzagli trained separately from the group with a minor muscle problem. Injury of Italian Defender Mattia De Sciglio, who missed the England game, is still injured.

Costa Rica seems to be the biggest surprise of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil with the 3-1 win over South American Uruguay in a one down suitation and coming from behind with an impressive achievement of three goals brace in the second half against the country having the best defence of the seasons. Costa Rica present the great example of the counter attacking football over Uruguay, Ruiz and Campbell is clearly quality, can trouble any team in this World Cup. Costa Rica also gave beautiful football examples on Saturday on their first match against Uruguay, stepping back from one goal down to beat 3-1. For the first time Los Ticos had scored more than two goals in a World Cup match in 11 attempts, and they came from just four shots on target. And for the first time they are able to beat Uruguay.

Costa Rica lineup: Navas – Gonzalez, Umana, Duarte, Gamboa – Bolanos, Diaz, Tejeda, Borges – Ruiz – Campbell.
